Session 16: In Principio: Using The Vulgate In The Latin Classroom
The transition from scripted or adapted Latin to authentic literature can be difficult for Latin students. It is important to find and use authors and texts which are appropriate and meaningful for students, and the Vulgate, the Latin version of the Bible, works nicely to make a smooth transition.
